In 2023 I had the great honor to participate in the rescue of an eagle I discovered on the Spirit River Reservoir. Raptor Education Group, INC of Antigo WI sent Loon Rescue team Linda and Kevin Grenzer to help capture and transport this guy to their facility for rehabilitation. He was a 5 year old that was unable to fly to higher purchases, dehydrated and about 3 pounds under weight. Even though testing did not indicate what was wrong he was rehabiliated and sent for placement in a facility as he was not able to a be released into the wild.
